This rubric is useful when grading student work, especially word problems. It details all of the items students need to receive a 4, 3, 2 or 1 on their work. It has been especially helpful to me during problem of the day and has led to many animated classroom discussions. It holds students accountable for their work and makes sure they show commitment to quality. It has also been helpful to me when grading, as it can be subjective at times.

Classroom Gradebook. Simply type in your student's names and the assignments and then the grades. They will automatically change colors based off of the score you type in. Color Codes: 0-74.99 = Red75-89.99 = Yellow 90-100 = GreenType in the percentage without the percent sign. Participation Rubric
This participation rubric is meant to be used as a weekly grade in any class. The grading is 5, 4, and 3.5 and so a student will never receive a score lower than a passing grade. The classroom teacher may choose to give in-between grades such as 4.25 or 4.75.
There are 4 grading categories: engagement, listening, preparation, and behavior.
