I've stapled sticky notes to my student's backpack loops more times than I can remember-then the light bulb went off! I use long strips on colored paper to mark student's bus numbers so I changed the wording and voila.

Blurt Cards: A Classroom Management Tool for Chatty Classrooms
If you have a chatty class, this is the perfect classroom management tool for you. First, print out one card per student. These Blurt Cards are designed to last a full week.
