I use this snowglobe writing template to have my students write winter themed stories. We cut them out and displayed them around the classroom. This file includes a snowglobe with writing lines, a blank snowglobe, and a snowman and gingerbread house that can be used to decorate the snowglobe.

This project is designed for 1:1 Chromebook classrooms and uses the Chrome extension Screencastify. It can still be used without a class set of Chromebooks! You could also modify the project to use with iPads. I highly recommend the app Explain Everything.
