Group Work Rubric - Smileys
I use this smiley rubric as a way for my students to assess their participation and effort in group projects. They color in a smiley based on how they feel they did and then write a short explanation of their choice. I find the students are very honest when using this rubric!

This is a simple rubric with a 4, 3, 2, 1 rating scale for elementary students. This can be used in ANY subject. I use it to write down the names of my students who are falling into each category at the end of the lesson. (summative assessment )

This resource is super easy to use to provide quick feedback while reading students' writing. The symbols included in this feedback resource can quickly communicate to students ways to improve their writing. The code is sorted into categories: content (the meaning of what students write), mechanics/conventions (how the writing flows and looks) and positive praise (to keep students energized about their writing)!

IEP Goal Reporting Preview
This is a preview of what I use this to keep track of all my students with IEP goals. I have color coded it for reach subject. It makes it easy when we have to do goal reporting because I have specific data for each goal. This opens up in powerpoint, so everything is able to be edited. This has a page for a reading, writing, math, social/emotional, and independent functioning goals. If you have more than one goal in each subject, you are able to duplicate the slide.

Sight Words Phonics Rules
In 1996, Dr. Edward Fry expanded on the Dolch sight word lists and published the book Fry 1000 Instant Words. His research found that:
*Just 25 words comprise approximately 33% of all written text.

Music Copies Needed
This is a form I have my band & choir students complete when they need a copy of something. It has worked well for me this year. It eliminates students coming up & telling me they need a copy. It puts the responsibility on the student to write it down. It also helps me keep track if a particular student continually loses music.
