This weekly + monthly behavior point chart is used to manage problem behavior. It is editable so you can change the goals as needed. At the beginning of the week, the student thinks of their point goal for the week and it is written/typed at the top. If the student makes his/her goal, reward! If not, they have points (data) to reflect on and strive to beat. The points add to the total as you enter them so it saves you time! This can be used as a Tier I and Tier II behavior intervention. This is a weekly behavior chart for students experiencing behavior difficulties. This chart targets ONE behavior at a time. When describing the targeted behavior, be SPECIFIC. For example, do not use "compliance." Instead use "stay in assigned area." When student is successful (determined by the teacher and support staff), the behavior and goal can be changed if necessary. I created this behavior chart while teaching first grade and finishing up my school counseling internship. I had a few students in my class who needed a more specific behavior chart in order to be held accountable and achieve success. This can be modified to fit your morning and afternoon schedules.
