This chart works brilliantly for any students in lower primary having difficulty with their behaviour. At the end of each day, the student discusses with the teacher how their day went and what colour to colour in the star. This gives the student ownership of their behaviour. They then bring the chart home with them each day in their reading or homework folder so the parents can also see what type of day they had and sign the chart.

Rewards can be special items/activities that take place at school, such as visiting the playground at the end of the day or playing with a special toy, or at home with their grown-ups!
