Notebook Check Rubric
Requiring students to keep a science notebook encourages note-taking and reflective thinking in the science classroom. A science notebook is a tool that encourages students to communicate their understanding of science concepts. All inclusive science settings should utilize the science notebook to help students compartmentalize what they have learned.

COMMON CORE ELA CLOSE READ RUBRIC
This rubric is not what I choose to have buyers use to assess my work. It is simply offered to help with the grading of close read activities. They are my true product (as well as the video guides and Powerpoints :).
This rubric is simple and direct. There are six on a page for ease of cutting and attaching as well as reduction in paper use. I have found that when I grade the close reads it is much easier if I've attached, or had kids attach, this rubric.

On this chart there is only a happy face and a sad face because if a child receives a red face, I would always put something positive(acceptable code) so that the parent can see that although their child performed unacceptable behavior that day, they also had positive moments as well.
