This is my second year teaching! I teach at a very small, rural school in southeast Tennessee. I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grades math and science. It is a full day, all day, every day. I would not trade it for the world!
This could be used as an independent practice page, short test, quiz, or as a guide for doing practice problems on the board. All problems include practicing the order of operations while integrating rational numbers to step up the difficulty level.
This resource is a review of the vertex form, standard form, factored form, and quadratic formula. Each question (4) has a list of the stated topics with a problem to solve all 4 ways. Each way solved then asks for certain parts of the information that can be found easily from that form. This is used as a review in my class to refresh some of the ideas of quadratics.
This worksheet was made to go with the "prezi" presentations that my students notes are based on. Those are public on prezi.com. This sheet is a review good for cell discovery history, cell organelles, and active and passive transport.
This foldable is a student friendly way to take notes while learning how to find the distance between parallel lines and how to find the distance between a point and a line.
This is a sheet I use weekly to make sure students keep up with assignments. This keeps students accountable for all work. This could be changed and adapted to anyone's need.

Experience
This is my second year teaching! I teach at a very small, rural school in southeast Tennessee. I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grades math and science. It is a full day, all day, every day. I would not trade it for the world!
Teaching style
I teach many different styles, due to the diversity of my classes. Sometimes it is lecture and note taking, other times it is discovery learning. I do use a lot of cooperative learning groups as well. I love letting my students tutor one another.
