Struggling to fill your conference time with parents? Here is a great way for students to get engaged in that time with their own reflection of how they feel they are doing in each of their classes. Have students fill out this form the week before conferences, then have it ready to give to parents when you meet with them. Have parents keep it, save it, take it home, and refer back to it with their student when they want.

This is a simple behavior reflection sheet I use for grades K-5. I fill out the face and the reason, they fill out why it happened and what they can do next time. There is a spot for parent signature so they can send it back in. This helps greatly with discipline for my students! I save a copy if possible just in case it doesn't come back and then I have a record of how many are sent home if there is a habitual issue.
