Performance Task - Pascal/Sierpinski Triangles
A great resource for International Baccalaureate mathematics! Although it can be used for non-IB classes, as well. I have used it for a midterm, but it can be used for an end-of-unit assessment, as well. This research project/performance task is designed to explore Pascal's triangle, its history, relationship with Sierpinski's triangle, and how it is used in the field of mathematics. Grading rubric included.
