I realized that my students knew very little about the mathematicians behind the math they were learning and I decided to give them an opportunity to gain some background knowledge. I went to Wikipedia to create brief bios for 24 influential mathematicians and then turned that information into a game of bingo. After hearing a little about each mathematician during bingo, students will choose 1 mathematician to research further and create a resume for. Included: -Bingo board for students to fill

This is a great project for the end of the year! Students are required to research a famous mathematician (they can choose one not listed as well) and create a research paper using the guidelines within the project. There is also an option to have your kids do a presentation (which I love!) with the guidelines provided as well. Rubrics are given for both the paper and presentation! Enjoy!
