This is a dramatized version of a story that famous educator Maria Montessori created. It was recorded by Michael J. Dorer in his 2017 book, The Deep Well of Time. I adapted his script into a 7-page play (about 20 min.) that can be performed with a class sitting in a circle while the teacher narrates.
