The Turtle, the Hare, and the Writing Contest - Small Group Readers' Theater
This Reader's Theater is for three students. We use it in class around Easter but it could be used anytime! It is a twisted version of the Tortoise and the Hare. The moral of the script is that it takes more than writing a lot and writing fast to make a good paper. As you can guess, my students were the inspiration for this one. Storybook Puppet Play - Franklin in the Dark
This is a puppet play (or reader's theater) based on the picture book Franklin in the Dark by Paulette Bourgeois. The script is worded as closely as possible to the actual book.
