Math Angles Board Game Instructions (and Rubric/Turn-In Checklist!)

Hi! I'm Abby. I've been a teacher for 8 years and I was recently looking for a final project where my students use their knowledge of angle types and measurements. My students love using their protractors and this was a fun, creative spin to do instead of a final formative assessment.Instead of finding a project, I made my own! The objective of this project is for students to work with a partner to draw angles, label them, design and build a creative board game using their knowledge of angle typ

Ratios and Proportions 20 - Consumer Math Project - Business Manager

• Solve consumer math applications while playing the role of “business manager.” • Difficulty solving percent problems is due to the inability to recognize what the question is asking. • Consumer math problems do not always ask to find the percent of a number. Translating Verbal Expressions to Algebraic Expressions Part 1 - Group Activity

Group activity allowing students to translate verbal to algebraic and vice versa for expressions, equations, and inequalities. Students work in groups of 3 and are not given any teacher assistance. They need to work their way through the activity in one class period, usually after a brief review/lesson of how to translate. This can be used with my notes and assignment of the same name (I usually do all three on the same day and they take the assignment home for homework).
