It's Better to Give... Christmas Charity Shopping Activity
This is an activity designed for third, fourth, and fifth grade students who are part of a Gifted/Talented program. This activity is part of the program's goal to help students develop solutions for the problems in the world around them.
Students are provided with information about a fictional family in need of help at Christmas. Students act as members of a local charity who have $1,000 to spend on the family at Christmas. Students are encouraged to think beyond toys and electronics and focus
