Get Out of Jail Free Card/Bathroom Pass
This is a student card given to students on the first day of school. It allows the students 7 exits for the semester. The card explains that it is used for all exit strategies, including bathroom, phone call, nurses, etc. You will need to switch my name for your name, but I included it to keep the formatting correct. At the end of the semester, I give 5 bonus points for each hole that is left unpunched. I use a simple handheld hole punch that I keep at my desk. This allows students to simply wal

Holiday or Winter-Themed Late or No Homework Coupons
Students love getting presents from their teachers, but it can get expensive. These coupons were created to give the kiddos an extra night for homework or a free night.
Print the coupons and hand them out for Christmas Holidays or Winter Incentives. The kiddos love them.

Characterization in "All Stories are Anansi's" by Harold Courtlander
This activity challenges students to think of character traits that describe Anansi in the story "All Stories are Anansi's" by Harold Courtlander. Students must think about what Anansi's does, thinks, says, etc. to describe him as a character. This was originally used in a middle grades English language arts class. Mi Armario- Clothes and Color Reader (Publisher)
This is a simple, predictable text used to reinforce noun and adjective agreement in Spanish using basic clothing and color vocabulary. Student will write the English translation on the pages.
