This is a collaborative puzzle that my students colored and assembled as a beginning-of-the-year project. When assembled, this puzzle spells out "CREATE" and reads, "Commit real effort and try everyday". This is for a quick mini-lesson on "good craftsmanship" for drawing projects. I have used this with middle school and high school students in an attempt to improve the quality of their finished drawings. I've even had high school students try to turn-in work that was colored like "scribble scrabble". I try to explain to students that even though not everyone has amazing, incredible drawing skills...everyone has the ability to make their artwork look nicer by having good craftsmanship. Workshee
