Save paper, and encourage students to do this activity multiple times by laminating the Square Chains Printable and writing on it with dry erase markers. -or- Students can cut out this printable and use it in an interactive math journal. My Math Thinking Mat is the perfect solution to allow students to use multiple strategies to show their thinking. Teachers can laminate these and use them with dry erase markers so they can use them again and again throughout the year!
