Unit Circle Comprehensive Reference Sheet

Created by

As a Pre-Calculus teacher I wanted a reference sheet for the unit circle that was comprehensive to include a visual for the 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangles with a visual representation of the reflections by color in each quadrant. I also wanted to include special angles (particularly tangent) and shaded in representations for the inverse trig functions. I couldn't find anything to meet that need, so I created one myself. I hope your students enjoy this as much as mine do! I also have a Trigonom

What is a Derivative? [Activities for Exploration]

Do you just jump in to calculating the derivative without giving your students a chance to think about what a derivative really is? This collection of activities are great, short ways to get them to pause and think about what a rate of change really is. And what's the difference between an average rate of change and an instantaneous rate of change? These are excellent, classroom tested, ready-to-print activities that will fit naturally in your PreCalculus, Honors Calculus, AP Calculus, or Underg

Antiderivatives Turkey - Color by Calculus

Solve indefinite integrals in a fun way! Just because they are in calculus doesn't mean they don't like to color. Color boxes allows those GT learners to choose their own color scheme. My students loved it! I encourage them to show their work/solutions on notebook paper and then I hung the best finished turkeys with their work in the hallway. The kids competed for a spot in the hallway!
