About the store
I create engaging resources for students of all ages in a variety of fields. From the math classroom to the STEAM classroom to the homeschool group to the Sunday School classroom, I want students to have fun while learning. The lessons and activities reflect 13 years of teaching experience in a public high school math classroom, a year as an adjunct professor at a university, and 8 years of experience as Director of Children & Family Ministry at a church. My lessons and activities are designed with all levels in mind. I hope you find that the resources balance helping students build confidence with challenging them in fun ways. Courses I have taught include Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-AP Algebra 2, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC. I have worked with new teachers, struggling teachers, and teachers in all disciplines. I have served as a high school instructional specialist, advanced academics team lead, and district curriculum writer for Algebra 2, Pre-AP Algebra 2, and Calculus over the years. I have tutored students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Math Models, middle school and elementary mathematics, and assisted students preparing for the SAT and ACT and teachers studying to pass their teaching exam. I hope you find something in my store that fits your needs and saves you time!

Solve indefinite integrals in a fun way! Just because they are in calculus doesn't mean they don't like to color. Color boxes allows those GT learners to choose their own color scheme. My students loved it! I encourage them to show their work/solutions on notebook paper and then I hung the best finished turkeys with their work in the hallway. The kids competed for a spot in the hallway!

Teaching style

I set high expectations for my students. I always believe in them even when they don't believe in themselves. I am a strong believer in setting a positive, enthusiastic, energetic learning environment. The classroom should be a place where kids are engaged, enjoying learning, making mistakes, and problem solving.
