Looking for a little project to do in December? Have your students make holiday ornaments using their angle measure skills! I assign this as a small quiz grade, and this year I even assigned it virtually and had students send me photos of their finished projects. You could also assign it as a take home (maybe extra credit even) over the December break. I randomly assign each student an angle in radian measure (my sheet of angles is attached), and for their angle they convert it to degrees, draw

Factoring Trinomials Valentine's Day Message

This PDF worksheet has seven practice problems for factoring quadratic trinomials. Includes a=1 and a > 1. Students factor each trinomial and find the two separate factors that match. Each factor pairs with a letter, which when unscrambled, forms a Valentine's Day message. There are more factors than trinomials to avoid student guesses. My Algebra 2 students did a Christmas version the day before break and LOVED it! They were still talking about it when we came back in January.
