This notes page is a great way to introduce multiplying integers using a number line and the idea of repeated addition before showing the integer multiplication rules to students. Students learn with the technique that multiplication is just repeated addition and the sign of the second number tells you the direction on the number line you are going. This is a great method to teach before showing the general integer operation rules.
