This unit blends mathematical thinking and creative thinking in a way that will have your students asking for more. Their task is to create a new playground for their school. They will need to research existing playground equipment, learn about drawing to scale, and use mathematical knowledge such as geometry, area, and percentages to create their own scale model of a new playground.
