Anatomy of a Variable - Start of Year Intro to Physics Basics

It's the start of the year and your students have forgotten everything! No fear, this print and go no prep resource will break down the different parts of a variable, including bases variables, subscripts, exponents, coefficients, and delta. This resources will help your students draw connections from their previous classes and preview many of the variables they are going to encounter in physics! This resource includes:Two versions of the guided notes: fill-in-the-blank & empty to fit your stude

Arithmetic & Recursive Sequences Escape Room

Arithmetic & Recursive Sequences Escape RoomDo your students need more practice with arithmetic and recursive sequences? In this resource you will find 12 questions on a mixture of identifying the common difference, writing explicit formulas, evaluating for a term, and using a recursive formula. Students will be required to use the explicit, correctly identify the common difference and understand how to apply that formula to find other terms. Students will practice with subscript notation. T

Acceleration Problems for 8 groups

These are simple kinematic problems that I use with my physics students that need the algebra practice. There are 8 versions of 3 problems on 1 page and a nice full page solution for each version. The students get an eighth gray scale page with 3 problems on it. The answers are in color --- but not full-blown vivid color that will blow a whole ink cartridge! I printed 1 set of them to laminate. This could be used as an in-class independent practice - each student attempts their 3 probl
