Doubles Ditty
Ever been plagued by a catchy melody you can't get out of your head? Who hasn't?! Songs are a great way of remembering things-- such as critical math facts.
You know that learning the doubles is key to mastering addition facts-- and multiplication facts. Multiplying by two is the same as doubling the other factor. So learning these facts is a two-for-one proposition.
This simple song, sung to the tune of "Au Clair de la Lune," is a great way of helping students remember these facts.

Farmer's Market: A Skip Counting/Multiplication Memorization Song (MP3)
This song, "Farmer's Market," was created to help elementary school students with memorizing multiplication facts (namely, skip counting). The graphics can be printed on cardstock and made into a cute little book to use with the song. Times Fours - An educational parody to practice the 4's Multiplication Tables
This song helps kids become more familiar with the four's times tables and counting by fours. Kids practice their times tables up to 4 x 10 and also count by multiples of fours. It is an "educational parody", meaning, I play the tune "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, but changed the lyrics to help my students with this multiplication table. I am not profiting in any way and just hope it helps your students!

This song was written to reinforce fact families. I refer to the addition problems as the brother and sister, and the subtraction problems as the mother and father.
