Dividing a Unit Fraction by a Whole Number
This Activinspire Flipchart allows teachers to provide a visual of dividing a unit fraction by a whole number. Space is given for the teacher to complete the normal algorithm. Use this quick worksheet as a guided practice to teach your students about seeing fractions as division. There is space for you to explain how to solve using pictorial models and standard algorithm. Having the models drawn for them on the first three questions really empowered them to create their own models on the last question.
