Fraction Craft - Turtle Fractions
Combine a math lesson (fractions - halves, thirds, quarters, fifths or sixths) with craft and creativity!This packet will provide you with template pieces to make a cute 'Fraction Turtle' for classroom display! Students will color their chosen fraction turtle. They will then label their turtle shell to show the fractions as equal parts. My students use the acronym "Turtles Have Tiny Heads" to help remember the order of the place values that fall after the decimal.
