The task is really easy to mark and students can work out for themselves if they have gone wrong since the message won't make any sense if they don't solve them correctly.
Knowledge of the ambiguous case is not required.
As an extension, pupils could make up their own code breaker puzzle using the Law of Sines, or Law of Cosines.
