This activity is a winter themed way to practice 1:1 correspondence and number recognition. Children count the number of mittens on the line and the select the appropriate corresponding number. When they select the right answer there is a reinforcing sound. The pages are made for counting to 10, but I added a few slides at the end to expand the counting for 1-20.
This activity was a great way for my whole class to practice the concept of basic sequencing and putting objects in order. Each page has 3 or 4 of the same item that are in different sizes. The children put the items on the bench from shortest to tallest.
