Matching and Proving Trig Identities

Students are given 10 trig expressions. They first match them using the graphs on their calculator then prove they are equivalent. Students must know the reciprocal, quotient, and Pythagorean identities and how to enter reciprocal functions in their calculator [cosecant is 1/sin(x)]. You could also make this more challenging by cutting the table up into individual cards and telling the students to prove without checking the graphs first. Document is editable.
