QR Codes with Six +1 Rubric Activity
This activity engages students with the Six +1 Trait of Writing. Students must learn about the trait of Ideas and utilize the idea rubric to evaluate written pieces. After the pieces are evaluated, the students reveal the actual score by scanning a QR Code. Another QR code reveals the rationale regarding why the piece received the score that it did.

This is an activity where each child is assigned / chooses a colony to research. They find the information, present it in a slideshow or quick green screen video, cut out an outline of the colony and decorate it, and create a QR code that's linked to the slideshow/video for people to view.
