Practice a simple sentence structure using motor, visual and auditory cues. Parts of speech are color coded to match a colored circle. Cut out the colored circles and place them in front of the student in the correct order. The student touches each circle as she says each part of speech. I color code it for two reasons: 1) I also color code my lesson plans and can go back and look at why a student was doing really well or why they struggled based on the activity that week 2) because data is boring and color makes everything more fun!
