Percents Turtle Grand Prix
This is a Turtle Grand Prix Game that I created to review percent equation and/or proportion. There are 5 miles. Students (I like to pair them up) must complete mile 1 before moving on to mile 2 and so on. The key to the game is "slow and steady wins the race." The objective is to take your time, because the more questions you get correct the more spaces you can move. This eliminates students rushing to be the first one done.

Compass Animals
Students can choose between 6 different animals to construct completely out of circles. By constructing their animals they are practicing measuring with a ruler (using both metric and English measurements) and using a compass. This is also great review for circle vocabulary such as radius and diameter.
This activity includes the instructions for a bear, panda, turtle, pig, frog, and lady bug. Each animal has the dimensions for all body parts.
