This is a collection of 10 Logic puzzles ranging in difficulty. (3-4 categories) Each puzzle has a grid available for the students to fill out and help them keep track of the information.
This activity has students practicing simplifying, adding, and subtracting radicals. Students must correctly simplify each square to find their way correctly through the maze
-Addition and subtraction problems include unlike radicals.
-Radicals do not include variables
Students can choose between 6 different animals to construct completely out of circles. By constructing their animals they are practicing measuring with a ruler (using both metric and English measurements) and using a compass. This is also great review for circle vocabulary such as radius and diameter.
This activity includes the instructions for a bear, panda, turtle, pig, frog, and lady bug. Each animal has the dimensions for all body parts.
This activity is a practice of graphing circles given a circle equation. The students can choose to create 4 different pictures (elephant, caterpillar, butterfly, or face). By graphing the correct circles the students will create the image.
*The butterfly contains one parabola graph. All other graphs are circle equations
This worksheet contains 9 multi-step linear inequalities. Students must solve the inequality and correctly match the solution to the number line graph.
By correctly matching the solutions students will be able to match each color to their appropriate number on the color by number sheet.
*This is a good independent activity. My students love these for "Fun Friday" activities.
This worksheet consists of 12 linear systems that can be solved algebraically or graphically. This download contains:
-Question sheet with riddle
-Two different work pages depending on how you are having your students solve. One are blank squares to solve algebraically and one contains axis for graphic solutions
-3 Answer keys (Graphically, Substitution, and Adding/Subtracting)
This worksheet is great for students to self check their work by matching their solutions to riddle on the question s
These are two thanksgiving themed coordinate graphs. Get into the holiday spirit with some thanksgiving math!!
- Mayflower
- Turkey
Most coordinates are whole numbers, but there are a few .5 coordinates.
Update* Graph paper is now provided in this download

This activity is a practice of graphing circles given a circle equation. (x-h)^2 + (x-k)^2 = r^2
The students can choose to create 4 different pictures (Snail, Ice Cream Cone, Snowman, or Solar System). By graphing the correct circles the students will create the image.
Each graph includes the graph paper as well as added details to the picture which allow students to self-assess their circles.
This google form contains 3 composite figures that are comprised of rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, and trapezoids. The google form will guide them through finding the area of the individual shapes and then combining them to find the area of the entire polygon. This would be a good homework or classwork assignment to review the skills of area and composite figures.
This download comes with two different worksheets. One for "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and one for "The Mayflower Voyage". Each worksheet contains 6 word problems. The problems range from one step to multi-step equations. All have only one variable and the variable is only on one side of the equation. You can have your students complete the problems after watching the film or pause the film at each picture shown so the students can translate and solve each equation.
Who doesn't love a good old fashion game of bingo? With this download you are ready to go with:
• 30 different bingo cards
• Answer key for all 75 factoring questions
(25 GCM, 25 Difference of two perfect squares, and 25 trinomials)
The last page of this document is also a blank bingo card with all of the factoring questions so students can design their own bingo card.
Bingo is one of those games that my students are always begging to play. Even my most lethargic students will jump at t
I love giving these mathematical Valentine's Day Cards to my students. Every holiday should be celebrated by giving a math card! This set of 6 valentines day cards uses 1 quadrant graphing to create an adorable image to go with the valentine greeting. Each graph is only 12 - 15 ordered pairs, so it is a quick fun activity for the students.
This worksheet contains 6 percent problems. You can have your students complete the problems after watching the film or pause the film at each picture shown so the students can translate and solve each equation.
These are coordinate geometry instructions for 3 Christmas themed pictures. Students will be able to create a reindeer, snowman, and Santa Claus using the list of coordinates. Just connect the dots as you go!
Update* This download now include graph paper for each picture
These worksheets are a fun way to practice adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing polynomials on Halloween. Students must simplify each polynomial in order to decipher which color goes with each number.
This worksheet has students practicing the use of two arithmetic formulas. Students will need to know the formula to find a specific term in an arithmetic sequence: an = a1 + (n – 1)d and the formula to find the sum of a sequence: Sn = n(a1 + an)/2. By finding the sum for each series students will be able to match colors with the correct number for the coloring sheet. Students of all ages love to color! Even my high school students want to work through the math, so they can color.
