Here is a graded curriculum that I use for my orchestra class. I have 37 weeks of exercises of increasing difficulty. I usually have kids write in the counting first and then perform. Each bar has two sets of parentheses underneath. I'll make each performance test 16 points (2 for each bar) then just mark any parts of bars that kids mess up on. Hope you find this useful. This a great resource to use throughout your bucket drumming unit! It challenges students to gain proficiency with keeping a steady tempo while increasing the rhythmic difficulty in their drumming patterns.
