My class loves this assignment of creating a PowerPoint on their favorite shape. Great for Geometry! The assignment includes a list of 8 slides and what to include on each slide. The students receive 10 points per slide and 20 points for being on task and participating. The students really enjoy shaping their PowerPoint presentations with the class. Scale Factor Dilation Project Geometric Transformations STEAM
This is a scale factor project that requires students to trace a logo or image onto a small grid and then dilate it x2 to the larger grid. It is a good activity to do at the end of the year and touches on Geometric Transformations. There is a rubric included and instructions.
