Free Math Scavenger Hunt
This is a scavenger hunt that will be good for first days of school. I would say it is more middle school and above, but you can judge that.
It asks for prime #'s, pi, square root of 144, and very basic things to make math engaging and fun the first days of school.

This fun, sometimes quirky Crossword Puzzle is a perfect SUB Activity. This will take about one class period. I suggest discussing a few of the trickier ones aloud at the start. Key included. 2-minute Timed Multiplication and Division Test or Drill
These were created after seeing that students needed more practice and motivation learning their multiplication and division skills. I have included the parent letter, 0-12 leveled but random multiplication tests/drills, and 0-12 leveled but random division tests/drills. All students start at 0 multiplication and move up as they pass the level (I count passing a level as all of the problems are completed and correct). In my room, students earn a treat for each level and have a visual on the wall
