This is a chart for students to use with observing scientific phenomena, then coming up with an inference to explain why they saw what they did. I generally use the Tricky Tracks picture, a water bottle with a ketchup packet in it (if you squeeze it, it sinks), a hand boiler, and a circuit toy. Students love debating about why each is happening!
