Creative and Critical Thinking in 30 minutes, is a dynamic activity that can be used as a formative assessment, indoor recess, stress buster, teambuilding, and for building critical and creative thinking skills. Students from grade 3 through grade 5 will utilize brainstorming skills such as: deferring judgment, piggybacking, forced relationships, brain drawing, categories and SCAMPER to identify problems and solutions.

Wordle is a free program that generates "word clouds" from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to the words that appear more frequently in the source text.
