Google Form with 15 Percent Word Problems - Mixed Practice

This is an online activity I have used while my school was learning online last year and again this year. The immediate feedback really helped students immediately know what they need to focus on. I find that students struggle the most with percent word problems when the problems are mixed up. This activity will give them the practice they need to read the problems and think about what method would work best to solve it. This is a great formative or summative check-in for percent word problems.

Math fact fluency 1 minute assessment addition and multiplication--Bubble Quiz

This is a math fact fluency assessment that takes 1 minute or less and is differentiated. It can be used for addition or multiplication. It's called the Bubble Quiz because of the "bubbles" or circles at the top of each column. The teacher begins by writing in +1 or x1 in each student's first bubble on their sheet. Then the teacher reads off a number at a time from answer key #1. The student listens to the number called off and adds (or multiplies) it to the number in their bubble. To begin with

Only two known ancient cultures, the Maya and Asian India, invented the concept of zero. Likely starting as a philosophical and literary concept, zero became incorporated into Indian and later Islamic mathematics. The concepts of zero and infinity also led to early breakthroughs in what we now call calculus. The modern world is based upon advanced mathematics and would be impossible without the concepts of zero and infinity. The Google Forms self-grading quiz consists of 45 multiple-choice quest
