Color Coded 2 x 2 Multiplication Practice
Students sometimes have difficulty learning to take their multiplication skills to that next level. Multiplying 2 numbers by 2 numbers can be confusing. This is a color-coded worksheet to lead the students step by step through 12 multiple-digit multiplication problems. Worksheet Key is on Sheet 2 of the Excel file.

This is a homework sheet I created for students to use after I teach the four strategies of multiplication. Since Common Core is all about using different strategies, this homework asks that students use ALL four ways to complete the multiplication problem.
