Students are graded on Timeliness, Completion, Accuracy, & Labeling. Not all categories have equal weights. This saved me when I was struggling to grade homework on time it really lifted a weight off of my shoulders.

This is a diverse project for a geometry unit. Students get to choose 3 projects they can do. It gives them options and can choose what they will enjoy doing the most. I give students this project at the beginning of a unit and it is due right before the unit test. Trigonometric Ratios word problems project
Contains 6 word problems that use the soh, cah, toa ratios. Each word problem is on its own page where the students work to draw a model of the situation with labels, show their work to solve, then write a sentence stating their answer in relation to the given word problem. There is also a rubric for grading included. Totally editable. I use it as a partner project but you could easier assign it other ways using all 6 or portions.

Pumpkin Construction Geometry
This activity can be used to assess, review, or practice basic Geometry Constructions. Students will need to know how to duplicate segments/angles, perpendiculars, parallel lines, and angle/segments bisectors. My students have loved doing this in the fall. In my class we have "The Great Pumpkin Contest" and students vote on their favorite pumpkins. So fun to combine art and mathematics - products created by students are amazing.
