This PDF worksheet has seven practice problems for factoring quadratic trinomials. Includes a=1 and a > 1. Students factor each trinomial and find the two separate factors that match. Each factor pairs with a letter, which when unscrambled, forms a Valentine's Day message. There are more factors than trinomials to avoid student guesses. My Algebra 2 students did a Christmas version the day before break and LOVED it! They were still talking about it when we came back in January.
