This set of critical thinking questions stems work for any subject area and help you level up your questioning skills. I print mine as a mini flipbook, using a hole punch and a ring to hold them all together. These stems are easy to grab and flip through during lesson planning or in the moment as part of classroom discussions.

This chart is used to give each team member a role when answering a team question. I have 4 different charts for teams of 4 members, 5, 6, and 7. I put each chart in a plastic sheet protector and clip it to a clipboard for the team captain. I number each desk with a number. Team captain in #1, co-captain #2, etc. The roles change weekly.
