In this Identifying Functions - Task cards activity, students will go over 18 task cards and identify the functions. In the student worksheet provided, students must circle yes or no under “is it a function?”, and if not, explain why not. Then they must write the output for 3 given functions, and explain what makes a relation a function. This activity can be done individually or in groups. My favorite is in groups of 3 or 4 because I ask the students to not share their answers with their group
