An Introduction to Clay
This resource is designed as a presentation to show your class which introduces the basics of using clay in the classroom. This includes, vocabulary words needed for clay, stages of clay, building techniques and a knowledge quiz at the end. This resource can be adapted to include writing notes and copying the illustrations that match the technique being shown to increase understanding or as a simple introduction at the start of a clay unit of work.

Out of the Dust Flipchart
This is a flipchart with discussion questions for students to answer in their writing journals and vocabulary words they need to know from the story. This is by NO means everything the teacher needs to pull out from the story, but it goes along with the three quizzes I have listed. It is a great tool for a teacher to use and add your own slides as needed. It includes 22 slides.

Multiplying and Dividing Decimals Keynote
This is a 9-day unit presentation. It was built for an ESL and 1:1 classroom. It practices gradual release, number talks, and formative assessment. The daily format is "I do, we do, you do." You may need to adapt some of the independent practice suggestions to fit the resources you have at your disposal. It doe give considerable focus to word-problem-solving strategies.

Fractions - Introductory Interactive Lesson w/Pear Deck option
25 slide, Pear Deck enabled slideshow to introduce fractions. A tool to talk about fractional parts, vocabulary (numerator, denominator), etc. Traditional fraction pieces of rectangles and circles become layered with various foods to increase engagement, encourage story problem ideas, and develop a deeper understanding of fractional parts and their meaning. No Pear Deck? This slideshow can easily be used with student whiteboards or good old-fashioned raised hands!

Daily Agenda Slide Template
Every single day when kids file into class, the first thing they ask is "what are we doing today?" It's exhausting answering this question, but as a fellow type "A" personality, the anxiety and need for a routine is real.
