Consonant Mnemonics
Mnemonics are multisensory, allowing struggling readers to associate phonemes (sounds) with graphemes (letters). They use all senses - visual, auditory, and even kinesthetic - adding actions to letter formation. Invaluable material to be included in whole class or small group direct instruction or guided practice. A MUST for struggling readers, who often have difficulties automatically retrieving the letters associated with sounds. They are a Great Complement to Mouth Articulation Photos.
