It assessed the common core standards that I've taught this marking period 1.OA.2 , 1.OA.8 , 1.NBT.4 , 1.NBT.5 , 1.NBT.6 Rubrics are included for each standard (we grade and assess off standards based--that is also how our report card is). I thought I would share this as a freebie, hopefully you are able to use it.

Be a Detective with QR Code Math
This QR Code math student practice page makes finding the solution a little more intriguing. Students will solve three-digit subtraction problems on their work page, but use an iPad, iPod, smart phone, etc. with a scan app (ex. QR Reader) to check their work. Students feel like detectives when they scan the code and discover they found the correct answer.

Fact Families- Color Coded Lesson
My 1st graders were really struggling with the concept of fact families, so in order to simplify it, I taught them to color code their fact family bubbles to have a visual aid to see where each part and whole goes.
This can be a great introduction activity, a review activity, or a work station page to help students grasp the concept and pattern of fact families and number bonds.
