Geometry Proof Helper & Study Guide 1st semester

I created this booklet-style geometry guide for my TAG/GT students -- 8th graders taking High School Geometry. It covers the first 7 chapters of the text book (our first semester), leaving room for notes on the primary theorems and definitions in each chapter. I allowed my students to use this booklet during quizzes so they could double check their reasons for each step in their proofs. They really made good use of this study aid. When dividing decimals students would ask: "Why do we put decimal point there?""Why is the hundredth smaller then the tenth?"I noticed they had a lot of questions and it was hard to just explain, they needed the visual representation. This unit organizer is a sample of a document that I use in every unit of my Geometry course. Each student has their own. The organizer is a place for them to record their daily assignments, points earned, test, quiz, or formative assessment scores for each text section, and to-do lists for retesting when mastery is not met. Available in MS Word format allows for easy formatting to fit your needs. I will post other unit organizers by unit separately.
