Students earn 3 points for asking each question and 5 points for answering each question plus 3 points for being quiet when the students are speaking in the back of the class.

Participation Rubric for German Class
This product was created to help students reflect and identify areas of improvement in the German classroom. I ask students to "grade" themselves and write examples. Then I review it and give them individualized feedback/tips. We can return to the same rubric and go over improvements made. German Bundesland Projekt
This is a partner project where students will research one of the 16 Bundeslaender in Germany. Each project includes: creating and decorating a map piece; creating a profile of the Bundesland on a tissue box; including a cultural presentation (food, traditional clothing, regional dances, etc). Students will then present their projects to the class. Each group sets up their three pieces, and then with their Reisepass they tour the classroom to visit the other Bundeslaender and take notes.
